Here’s the truth: True positive thinking is NOT expecting the best. True positive thinking is ACCEPTING that what is happening RIGHT NOW IS the best; for your own development, advancement and growth.
The cross… the most visible sign of Jesus’ glory— a sign that will draw everyone to him. …This cross reveals the depths of God’s love for us. It reveals Jesus’ determination to follow his Father’s plan, no matter the cost. It reveals the holiness and humility of One who considers each of us worth dying for. On this cross, Jesus emptied himself so that we could be filled with divine life. He was humiliated and degraded so that we could be glorified.”
16 And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:
17 And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.
18 Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.
Lord Jesus, I give you my hands to do your work. I give you my feet to go your way. I give you my eyes to see as you do. I give you my tongue to speak your words. I give you my mind that you may think in me. I give you my spirit that you may pray in me. Above all, I give you my heart that you may love in me, your Father, and all mankind. I give you my whole self that you may grow in me, so that it is you, Lord Jesus, who live and work and pray in me.
Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
Lord Jesus, may I give you fitting honor in the way I live my life and in the way I treat my neighbor. May I honor the Lord’s Day as a day holy to you. And may I always treat others with the same mercy and kindness which you have shown to me. Free me from a critical and intolerant spirit that I may always seek the good of my neighbor.
